Day 11~ K is for Komondors

A komondor (Come-in-door-) is a breed of dog

known for guarding sheep from wolves in freezing cold weather of places. They are normally called "Wolves in sheep clothing" because their hair comes down in long cords (Dread locks).

Komondors are very loyal to their families and protect them from anything, as they would with the sheep. Sadly, most komondors are not good with strangers because they are guard dogs. They may be fine with your friend one second and then the next, view them as an enemy. Most komondors will reset their views on everyone but close family.

Saxon, my komondor, is a wonderful companion. He is incredibly smart and very goofy. He has the best personality of any dog. At the moment he is around 6 or 7 years old, and has arthritis in his legs, but still acts like a puppy at times. He is completely shaved down and spends his time laying on the couch all day and at night running up stairs to his OWN bedroom and going to sleep on the bed. He is also the best snuggler you could ask for :)

I have had three komondors through out my whole life. They are truly wonderful, intelligent, beautiful and sweet dogs.

ASDFGSD my parents say that saxon is our last komondor :( At least he is the best dog I have ever had. Anyways this is day eleven of the A-to-Z Challenge! Check the creators out here.
