Day 4~ D is for Dogs

Dogs
So I have always wanted to have a dog. A dog that loves me and that I love back and we can play and cuddle. But, my mean old mother always says no. These are her reasons;
- It's to messy (according to her I won't clean up after the dog).
- She won't pick up dog poop. (why I can't do that I have to idea).
- Apparently I won't remember to feed the dog.
- The dog will die and we will all be upset (so maybe that's a good reason).

Anyways, comment down below if u agree or disagree with my moms reasoning, and follow our blog if you enjoy this or any other posts. :)

  1. Aw. It's always hard losing a pet but the years with them make it so worth it. Sorry your mom isn't up for a doggy addition to the family. They are a lot of work I'll give her that. Hopefully yall can work it out. Have you thought about volunteering with an animal rescue? Won't be a pup in the house but you could spend time helping to socialize them and such. Huge help to the rescue and the pup finding a forever home and maybe your mom would see how responsible you were with them.

    Happy A to Z-ing!

    1. That's a great idea I never thought of that. Maybe I'll look into it more. Thanks,

  2. I am SO happy "Herding Cats" came here before me because that idea/suggestion is brilliant! I was about to get myself in so much trouble with your mom! LOL! I am an EXTREME dog lover (I am down to one right now, but have had as many as three at once).
    I will say this, they are a lot of work and when I got my first dog (I was about ten), I didn't realize how much work it would be and, my mom was right (she had said a lot of the stuff your mom did) - she ended up doing a lot of the work! So, heading out to a shelter/animal rescue is a great idea because it will also be a great opportunity for you to learn all of the stuff you need to know BEFORE you bring a dog home that is 100% your responsibility. That would have been a great thing for me to do!
